Perform a Daily Reboot At a Specified Time (Pro Version Only)
Is your web cam machine somewhere else. Windows typically needs rebooted every once in a while and if you don't have physical access to the machine this can be a problem. CaptureMAX also allows you to specify a time to perform a daily reboot.

Remote Access Server (Pro Version Only)
Is your web cam machine somewhere else. Do you not always have physical access to it? The Remote Access Server (RA Server) may be the answer you have been looking for. Perform manual captures, change the configuration, reboot the machine, even install software updates all through a simple, easy-to-navigate telnet connection to the machine.

Time Lapse Video Builder
The Time-Lapse Video Builder will allow you to create Time-Lapse Videos from the frames you have captured. CaptureMAX allows you to pick and choose what frames are included in the video, you can even re-arrange the frames.

Enhanced Error Reporting
CaptureMAX offers a separate log tab that only contains errors.

Local Archiving (not on webserver).
CaptureMAX can optionally archive every capture it takes on your hard drive (locally). Use any file naming convention you like with the use of CaptureMAX MCI codes.

Internet Dialer for Modem Connections
CaptureMAX now includes a built in internet dialer. You can now tell CaptureMAX to dial-up a connection and keep it alive or only connect long enough to send your captures up to your webserver.

Multiple Configuration Profiles
CaptureMAX now allows you to create multiple profiles for different cameras and/or web servers. Easily switch between profiles. You can even use CaptureMAX's command line options to automatically load a specific profile.

Motion Detection Options
CaptureMAX has a sophisticated set of motion detection options. You can set the motion thresh hold and sensitivity. Tell CaptureMAX to begin capturing when it detects motion, take a capture at the moment it detects motion and stop capturing after there has been no motion for XX minutes.

SOCKS 5 Proxy Server Support
CaptureMAX can now operate through standard SOCKS 5 proxy servers.

Upload via FTP to any webserver.
CaptureMAX will upload your images to any FTP server so that you can create a 'live' webcam. You can even have CaptureMAX create your webcam homepage for you!

Ability to run a program or script after each capture.
CaptureMAX allows you to specify a program or script to run after each capture. This feature adds an enormous amount of flexibility. For example you could execute an FTP script if you would like to upload your image to multiple webservers. Your imagination is the only limit!

NTP Time Sync (Atomic Clock Sync).
Computer clocks are notorious for not being 100% accurate. You can keep the time on your computer and on your captures correct by doing an NTP Time Sync before each capture. There are hundreds of public NTP (Network Time Protocol) servers out there, These servers provide the most accurate time available. CaptureMAX will connect with one of these servers and update your system clock so that your timestamp is always accurate. Select a NTP server from one on the extensive list included with CaptureMAX or specify your own.

Send Diagnostic Data to The Webserver For Remote Viewing.
CaptureMAX will optionally send a diagnostic report to your ftp server so that you can view online. This is especially handy when you are managing a webcam at a different location.

Stand Alone Time Lapse Builder
The Stand Alone Time Lapse Builder is for advanced users who wish to compile time-lapse files with a large number of frames or wish to compile the timelapse file without loading CaptureMAX. You may also choose to use the stand-alone compiler if you find that the compile process is taking a long time or are getting out of memory errors.
